Hello friends and family! I’ve been invited to compete in a kayak fishing tournament at a National level along with 11 other anglers that will help me represent our state of Texas. Last year we entered the Fin Factory Rey Del Mar kayak tournament with roughly around 100 other anglers and placed all placed im the top ten in the offshore division. The top 10 anglers were invited to fish and compete for a shot at Pan American World Kayak Fishing Championships in Spain 2025 and help with making Team USA for 2026. Texas will be competing with anglers from Maui, Southern California, Maryland, Oregon, Florida and current Team USA members at Summer Slam 2 in Pompano Beach, FL on August 9, 2025. Team USA is also making a push for kayak fishing in the 2028 Olympics and Team Texas can potentially make it there with your help!

Our team is looking for any sponsors and donations to help us get there a have a fighting chance against other elite anglers from around the U.S.! We are wanting to make team jerseys and would need help with entry fee, travel and lodging. Our team has also pledged to donate back to charity if anyone of us wins! We are all a group of Texas natives with different backgrounds but share a common passion for kayak fishing inshore and offshore. Catching fish from a kayak is fun but fighting trophy beasts off a plastic boat miles offshore takes it to a higher level and the adrenaline rush Team Texas has to compete with anyone!
