We are raising funds for a (UMass) Center of Racial Justice high school Alumni who is currenlty studying at Norfolk State University in VA. Tashauna is an amazing young person who is studying Psychology with plans to work in Neuro-Psychology upon graduation. These funds would help this scholar cover tuition fees for the second semester of her Freshman year. Attending an HBCU has been an important experience for Tashauna; as a young Black American woman she is able to focus on her studies without feeling singled out or having to navigate spaces that are not catered toward people who look like her. We are asking our friends, colleagues, and fellow co-conspirators to support Tashauna this coming semester.
