Hello! We are Sylver Scream Productions and we are raising money for our debut Horror Short Film, “Anima”.

We are a team of young queer artists coming together to share new and thought-provoking films within the horror genre, while centering stories from marginalized and niche perspectives.

As young artists new to the industry, we do not have the financial backing to get this off the ground alone. So we’re turning to you, our community, for financial support.

If we reach our initial goal of $1000 we will just be able to fund this short. The budget will be tight to prioritize paying our cast and crew, but it is doable!

Our larger goal is $5000 which would help us to not only comfortably fund this short, but to truly get Sylver Scream Productions launched, aid in festival submissions, and help fund other shorts in the early stages of development right now.

Synopsis

A young woman recently estranged from her family moves to a new town to start over.

Shortly after arriving tragedy strikes and her only companion, her pet cat, dies unexpectedly.

In a desperate attempt to relieve her pain and escape isolation she calls out to anyone, or anything, that will listen.

What she didn’t expect was an answer.

Follow our protagonist’s violent descent into grief and search for justice

while confronting her past.
