Help Me Support a More Sustainable Nashville
Tax deductible
I’m fundraising for Urban Green Lab because I believe sustainability should be part of everyday life — for everyone in Nashville.
Urban Green Lab teaches people how to live more sustainably where it matters most: at home, at work, and in our schools. They equip teachers to help students to make climate-conscious decisions, help families reduce waste and save money, and work with businesses to shift culture from the inside out.
Right now, Urban Green Lab is launching its bold 2030 Strategic Plan — but they’re doing it during a tough economic and politic moment, facing issues like:
- Gutting of EPA Environmental Justice offices
- United States' exit from the Paris Climate Accord
- Suspension of federal renewable energy programs
- Fast-track permitting of mining/logging on public lands
- Elimination of power plant controls
- Loss of federal and pass-through grant funding
- Reduced corporate support due to tariffs and stock market instability
Because of all this and more, they need our support to stay strong and continue to serve the people of Nashville. That’s why I’m trying to raise $1,000 by October 1st.
Will you help me reach this goal? Every dollar supports practical, science-based education that is helping people learn to live more sustainably. Even a small gift makes a difference.
Sustainability education moves people from anxiety to agency. It gives communities real tools to reduce emissions, conserve resources, and build climate resilience now.
Donate now to support this ongoing work.
