Every student deserves the chance to attend a great school—no matter where they live. But with Chicago Public Schools facing an increasingly strained budget climate, critical supports like student transportation for students at Uplift are no longer guaranteed.

Many of Uplift Community High School’s students come from neighborhoods across the city—some traveling long distances each day for the chance to attend an inclusive, high-quality, early college high school. For many families, public transportation is not a safe or realistic option, and without reliable transportation, access to opportunity becomes out of reach.

That’s why the Uplift Shuttle matters so deeply. It bridges the gap—literally—connecting students from other parts of Chicago to a school that sees and believes in their potential. The shuttle ensures that a student’s zip code doesn’t determine their future, and that families who value safety and equity can continue to choose Uplift.

Your donation directly funds transportation for students who would otherwise lose access to the education they deserve.
