My name is Cami & Steve “Bullrider” Nelson is my father. As many of you know, we had to get him into an assisted living home awhile ago. He has been under hospice care for quite sometime, but most recently was dropped from their coverage because luckily he is not declining as quickly and is very cognitive. Though he is on palliative care, there are now costs for his daily/monthly needs that are not included in the assisted living rent and no longer covered by hospice either. On top of that he is in need of a motorized wheelchair to make it easier for him to move around his home. He is still awaiting first responder back pay from social security and with the cost of assisted living there is barely any funds to cover his prescriptions and other needs. I know times are tough on everyone lately so any help is appreciated greatly.
