Pawsitive Care for All Tails is a non-for-profit initiative aiming to provide care for animals in underserved communities. Our first mission is scheduled for Fall 2025 in St. Lucia, where we will work to address the island’s growing stray dog population. Target impact: 60 animals; strays and low-income households.
Why are we doing this?
St. Lucia has a growing stray dog population that lacks access to basic veterinary care. The dogs reproduce uncontrollably, and live a life of suffering, with many dying of starvation or treatable disease.
Why is that important?
Local communities often lack the resources to care for uncontrolled stray population, leading to
increased animal cruelty, the spread of zoonotic disease, and overwhelmed shelters. The issue affects both humans and animal well-being and compromises tourism, public health, and local pride.
Why should you support?
Your support can transform the lives of dozens of stray dogs in St. Lucia. Moreover, with Canadian foster homes stretched thin, it's more urgent than ever to care for these dogs locally—before they need to be sent abroad.
What's the real impact?
Pawsitive Care For All Tails, led by expert veterinarians, delivers humane, sustainable solutions through local partnerships and high-volume sterilization. Your support prevents unwanted litters, reduces suffering, empowers communities, and protects public health.
We are seeking $10,000 in funding which will help cover the cost of medical supplies, local outreach and post-operative care.
