I am raising $10,000 to bring the 2nd Annual Volo Fashion Showcase & Competition to Ghana this April 2025! This event is more than just a fashion show—it’s a platform for emerging designers, a celebration of luxury and legacy, and a movement toward sustainable fashion education in Africa. Last year, we made history in Volo, Ghana, by giving six aspiring designers a global stage to showcase their talent. This year, we’re expanding our impact—offering training, mentorship, and resources to help these designers turn their dreams into reality.
Why This Matters:
• Empowering Local Talent – We are giving young designers the opportunity to learn, showcase, and connect with the global fashion industry.
• Promoting Sustainable Fashion – Through upcycling and eco-friendly textiles, we are encouraging sustainable practices that protect the planet.
• Honoring Cultural Legacy – This event is dedicated to my cousin, Torgbe Volo Yingor 1st, and his vision of cultural preservation and community empowerment.
• Rebuilding a Community Clinic – A portion of the funds will go toward renovating Volo’s clinic, providing better healthcare for local residents.
