Fund Sebastián's Tanglewood Experience

Hello, I'm Sebastián Andrade-Rondón, a bassoon student from North Port, Florida. I am currently a Junior at Imagine School in Sarasota County. I have been studying bassoon with Professor Daniel Beilman for the past few years, and we decided to submit an application with only 15days until the recordings were due. I practiced and recorded everything I could in those 15 days, not expecting anything out of it.

Alas, I found out the first week of March that I have been selected to attend the 2-week bassoon workshop at Boston University Tanglewood Institute and waitlisted for the Young Artists Orchestra, Young Artists Wind Ensemble, and Young Artists Woodwind Quintet.

In order to secure my spot I need to submit a $1000 deposit.

Other associated costs for the 2-week Bassoon Workshop are as follows:

Tuition: $2,115

Room & Board: $1,355

Other Required Fees: $425

Airfare and transport: $1500

Total: $5395

My family and I are unable to pay for this in such a short time so I'm asking the community for help.

I would like to raise the initial amount of $1000 for the security deposit, and the rest will go toward the rest of the tuition, fees, and airfare.
