Saudade is a heartwarming story about our intrinsic longing for the familiar. A young adult dives into her memories at home in Brazil as she prepares to leave for college in America.

Inspired by director and international student Alice Lira's own memories, Saudade is a deep dive into the unique struggles faced by international students and the need for a place to call home. The film, told through the protagonist's memories, explores her journey to acceptance at an American college. The girl's journey culminates in her recognizing her ability to create new memories.

Our goal is to raise $100 to cover the production design costs for items such as Brazilian outfits, actor-friendly makeup, Brazilian decor, and printed photos.

Donors will be acknowledged in a special "Thank You" section of the credit sequence.
