Hi, my name is Sasha and I’m currently facing a challenging medical situation. Three weeks ago I injured my knee and recent MRI scans revealed that I unfortunately have a complete tear of my ACL, damage to both sides of my meniscus, and an injury of my MCL.

The pathway to recovery is extremely extensive, including physical therapy both before and after an ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair surgery.

The estimated cost for my treatment, even with insurance, is still expected to be a little out of reach for us at the moment, reaching up to around 6-10 thousand dollars.

Additionally, this injury could not have happened at a worst time. Last month, somebody from my family was diagnosed with cancer, requiring chemotherapy, surgery, and several tests and scans that came out-of-pocket, all which have taken a significant financial toll on us. I have also requested from my managers at work for more hours so I can help pay for my medical costs, but the pay from being a Publix cashier can only cover so much.

These two medical challenges came unexpectedly and have put an immense strain on our family’s finances. While it is difficult to ask for help, we are now in a desperate situation. Any amount that you are willing to donate would be extremely helpful during this time, and we would all be eternally grateful.
