Fund Sami's Move to a Peaceful Home

My name is Sami Lare. I'm a queer and trans new therapist working in Chicago. I work from home three days a week.

Over the last couple of months, my downstairs neighbor has started screaming and fighting with her partner, and it has impacted my job. This has now escalated where the neighbor's dog has been wandering to my floor and barking at my dog. Recently, I had an altercation with the neighbor after asking them to keep it down. In addition, the landlord has refused to fix the laundry room for seven months. I do not feel safe to continue living here. I will be having to have an emergency move. I just resigned the lease and can't afford to move on my own. I am asking for $5,500 to cover the moving fees, first month's rent, and deposit in a new place, and to cover the penalty costs for reletting the apartment. Thank you.
