Hi everyone,

My name is Saleenia, and I’m reaching out with a hopeful heart and a big dream.

I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to attend a prestigious dance intensive this summer in North Carolina, at the North Carolina School of Perfoming Arts University of which I plan on attending upon graduating high school in 2026. It’s a program designed to challenge and inspire young dancers like me—to grow not just in technique, but in confidence, artistry, and understanding of this beautiful, demanding craft.

Dance has always been my passion. And now, I have the chance to train with some of the best instructors, alongside other driven and talented dancers, in a place that will push me closer to the future I’m working so hard for.

But here’s where I need your help.

Attending this program comes with a significant cost—travel, tuition, housing, and more. My family and I are doing everything we can, but we’re not able to cover it all on our own. That’s why I’m reaching out to my community, to ask for support in getting me to North Carolina this summer.
