Hi! My daughter’s name is Sakura. She is a junior in high school. She’s an honor roll student and is taking early college courses. She is involved in extracurricular activities—the drill team. If that didn’t take enough time, she coaches the local little league cheer team and tiny tots division at the local baseball field.

She has had a harder life than so many could even imagine. She contracted bacterial meningitis when she was a toddler. This led to septic shock, organ failure, and ultimately multiple amputations. She has had a total of 127 surgeries (the majority being plastic surgeries and orthopedic surgeries). She has had some incredible doctors who truly cared, but of course, with the good must come some bad.

She makes fresh, homemade bread to fund her journey toward becoming a medical lawyer. After completing programs at Stanford, Notre Dame, and George Mason University, she has been given the AMAZING opportunity to study law at Oxford University this summer—a vital step toward her dream of attending Texas A&M School of Law. She ultimately wants to practice medical law.

So many people have been absolutely wonderful and ordered breads from her—they’re only $10 a loaf, so that is A LOT of bread to make and sell!

Unfortunately, two people who offered to help sponsor the remaining balance and flights backed out on her and she is trying her hardest to make payments before the deadline, which leaves us to the point she’s at now.

She needs to cover a small portion left of her tuition and her flights to school and back home.

She’s a REALLY great kid who works her butt off to make her dreams a reality. She deserves this chance after she has worked so hard. I would hate for her to miss out on this just over some flights. Please consider helping! Thank you so much to anyone who donates and helps her reach this goal!
