Fund rising for family of Late Freedom Fighter Subash Bohara

Introduction
The Khukuri Nepalese Sports and Culture Club, along with the broader Nepali community in Canada and abroad, expresses its deepest sorrow over the tragic loss of lives during the recent Gen Z People’s Protest in Nepal.
We honor and respect all 19 beautiful souls—mostly young school students—who were brutally killed when the government ordered live fire against peaceful demonstrators. Their sacrifice will forever remain a powerful reminder of the fight for a just, fair, and corruption-free Nepal.
Among these martyrs, we especially remember our great freedom fighter, Mr. Subash Bohara. He stood fearlessly at the frontlines, demanding truth and justice. His death was not an accident—he was deliberately targeted when the government ordered live bullets against protesters. His bravery and ultimate sacrifice shine as a beacon of courage in the people’s movement.
Why We Are Raising Funds
While we grieve every life lost, it is the Bohara family who needs our immediate support at this moment.
Subash’s mother, in order to survive, has been forced to go to India for work, leaving her family behind.
His younger brother is still studying in Grade 9, and without support, his education and future are at risk.
This fundraising is not only to help them recover from their immediate loss, but also to ensure that his younger brother can continue his studies and build a brighter future. It is equally important to allow his mother to stay by his side during these crucial years until he becomes independent.
We respect and mourn all the loved ones who died in the protest, but Mr. Bohara’s family urgently needs economic help right now.
