Fund Rewaa’a Family’s Medical Bills in Gaza

Hi, my name is Alice Pinder from London, England and I am fundraising for my friend Rewaa Yahya who is currently in Khan Younis, where she was originally living after being displaced from Rafah.

Rewaa is a 24 year old from Gaza who dreams of perusing her studies in law, though since October she has had to postpone her studies. Before October, Rewaa Before the war, had several intestinal operations and a gallbladder removal operation, and she was diagnosed gallbladder syndrome. Now with malnutrition, her pain has increased because she cannot eat most of the food, and in the past period only canned food was available, and she cannot eat it, but she was forced.

Her family’s house was completely destroyed. The Yahya family had a commercial store, which was also destroyed by the occupation, and her relatives have also had their work and studies disrupted. Rewaa’s mother is also suffering from angina and needs medical check ups, and her nephew, pictured below, who is a young baby, also needs care.

Rewaa and her family desperately need your support to finance their medical needs and to be able to get food and drink, as prices have skyrocketed in Gaza, causing many to be malnourished. The funds raised will be sent to my (Alice’s) bank account and directly transferred to Rewaa.

The health situation in Gaza is getting worse because of the sewage drains. They have become a prevalent spot in the entire Strip, and pungent odors have contagious diseases and other harmful insects. Help Rewaa’s family to move to a safe place for them and their children.
