Fund research, awareness and support for TSW syndrome

Tax deductible
This year my sisters and I are taking part in the Glasgow Kilt Walk on the 26th April to raise money for ITSAN (International Topical Steroid Awareness Network). ITSAN raises awareness and provides support and resources for people suffering from Topical Steroid Withdrawal Syndrome (TSW), which is a painful and debilitating condition that can arise from the use of topical steroids, a treatment commonly prescribed for skin conditions such as eczema. TSW is still very under-recognised which makes it difficult to diagnose or prevent. I hope that raising funds for ITSAN will contribute to increased awareness in the general public and medical community so that less people will suffer from this preventable condition.

Any donations or shares are much appreciated! This cause is close to my heart as someone who experienced TSW and would have been lost without the resources and support ITSAN and its community provided.

More information about ITSAN: The International Topical Steroid Awareness Network (ITSAN) is a nonprofit charity formed to raise awareness about a condition called Topical Steroid Withdrawal Syndrome, also known as Topical Steroid Addiction or Red Skin Syndrome. Our goal is prevention, early detection, accurate diagnosis, and proper treatment of TSW Syndrome. We also support those suffering from the condition and their caregivers. You can find more information at itsan.org.
