Hi all!

I am running the Lincoln 10k in April and I would love the support of family and friends to raise money for Charlottes Bag. This is one of the only charities in the UK focusing on, and raising funds for research into and awareness of Glioblastoma. The cancer is very rare and currently nearly always terminal.

As most know, I unfortunately lost my Mum to Glioblastoma in 2022, just 18 months after diagnosis, this came at the most difficult time during COVID where there was a travel ban for the majority of that 18 months which meant with my parents living in America I couldn’t go to America to support her until the month before she passed away.

I started running in February this year (something I never thought I’d be able to do) in an attempt to better my physical and mental health. I’ve always wanted to take place in the Lincoln 10k as it’s where I was brought up and ultimately where the best memories of me, my mum and my family are! When I looked into the 2025 Lincoln 10k and saw that it was being held on my Mums birthday, 6th April, I knew it was a sign for me to complete it, with her watching over me.

I know times are tough nowadays and most are pinching the pennies but I’d really appreciate any donations that could be made!
