- Hi my name is Lara and I'm fundraising for Mackay Lost Found Adopt Pets and the volunteers. I have lived in Mackay for 3 years and wanted to raise funds for the amazing volunteers that collect dogs cats and birds in our community that offer to check microchips, take dogs to the vets, foster animals from the shelters at Mackay or return animals to their owners and raise the funds for their vet care, usually heartworm or general vet work - yre an amazing group of people Stuart, Dawn, Sue, Taylah , Robin, Kerri and all that help. I think Mackay is such a generous community so wanted to kick off this fund-raiser to make the work that you do on behalf of the animals and owners in our community here easier for next year. All proceeds will go to Kerri Anderson to distribute to the volunteers as needed for vet bills, food, fuel, microchip scanners, leads, flea and tick tablets and hey maybe even a drone :) for 2025. C,mon Mackay lets show our appreciation for all that they do by supporting the fund-raiser we're lucky to have them. Pics will be posted on Mackay Lost Found Adopt Pets at the end of the fundraiser.
