Fund raising for Bob Pemberton

Hello everyone. Just wanted to give an update on my Dad’s situation. He has approached other charities and sadly they cannot assist due to the fact he needs to have a stent put in the artery and they cannot perform this operation in Africa. So it’s back to trying to raise the funds ourselves. I am therefore appealing for any help you can give. No amount is too small. Thank you for your kindness. 


It’s with a very heavy heart that I’m doing this. My Dad, Robert (Bob) Pemberton, needs to have surgery as he has an aortic aneurysm and he’s been told he needs to get the surgery asap as it could rupture at anytime. His best chance he’s been told by the medical professionals is for him to have it done in India. Both my parents live in Zimbabwe and their medical aid won’t pay very much of the total cost for this procedure. Those who know the situation in Zimbabwe will understand the predicament my family are in. I am therefore asking for help to raise the money that he needs for this operation. The over all cost for the surgery is £22 000.00. Every little bit will be greatly appreciated. 

We one week into the fund raising and on behalf of my family and myself I would like to thank each and every one of you for your donations and sharing of this fundraiser. My dad  is still getting quotations for the procedure and the majority of the funds is to pay for the stent that he needs fitted. The quotations he has been given vary drastically and the funds we trying raise through here is for the lowest quotation. 


I appreciate that times are really hard for a lot of us and that’s why we are even more grateful for the donations we have received so far. No amount is too small. Thank you and I’ll will keep you updated.
