Fund Raising for Church Building Project

Greetings!

We are a small group of people at Charlotte, North Carolina, who celebrate the Holy Qurbana [Eucharist] in the tradition of Malankara [Indian] Orthodox Syrian Church; one of the oldest churches founded in A.D. 52 by St. Thomas, the disciple of Jesus Christ.

Our church was established as a non-profit corporation in 2007. We were gathering twice a month [based on hall availability and other logistics] to worship the Lord. By God’s Grace, in 2023 – we got an official vicar to lead us and obtained 501c3 status. Hence, we put all our efforts to fulfill our vision – “Our Own Church Building!”

After all the hard work, by God's Grace, we have now purchased a building for our church in June 2024.

To give a brief description of the building, it is a beautiful (old) church located in Kings Mountain (NC) which was built in 1950. Building has a lot of repairs that need to be completed to make it fully functional.

We are in need of additional $50k for remaining repairs. Hence, we are humbly requesting you to contribute whatever is possible to you.
