With the deepest sorrow, we share that Arshdeep Kaur, aged 22, passed away due to cardiac arrest on February 6, 2026, in Moncton, New Brunswick.

Tehal Singh, Arshdeep's father reached out to Gurudwara Sahib Moncton and requested that it is his heartfelt wish that Arshdeep’s body should be sent back to their village Kotha Guru Ka, Bathinda, Punjab, India so her last rites can be performed according to the religious traditions.

Unfortunately, the costs of a respectful farewell have come as a heavy burden during this already devastating time.

We humbly appeal to all community members, friends, and well-wishers to support the family during this extremely difficult time. Any contribution, big or small, will help cover the costs of transportation and funeral arrangements.

For transparency, all the funds collected and spent all the transactions can be verified on the Gurudwara Sahib Moncton's notice board.
