Fund raiser for Prathapan's family

Every time I go to India, I look forward to many things, one of them being going to Sindhu Auntie’s Music Class. She is a great and inspiring teacher but more than that, she is a great person and a role model who I look up to as well. Recently tragedy struck when her husband got ill and was sent to the hospital where he passed away a few days ago. Prathapan uncle passed away on March 31, 2019 in KIMS Hospital from a liver disease. Prathapan uncle was a devoted and kindhearted individual, a caring husband and a loving father. He put all of his ability into his work and family, providing a bond to keep the family together forever.

Prathapan uncle left behind Sindhu aunty and their teenage daughter. He had a government job and was now just starting to collect pension. However, many months in the hospital led to the pension all going towards the hospital bills. At the time that he had passed away, all the pension had gone towards bills as well as all the money saved up from all the years. In addition to this, he was the main source of income in the family. Currently, Sindhu aunty and daughter are living in a rented house until they can find a better place to live. Their daughter is in eleventh grade right now.

This led me to kickstart a GoFundMe campaign to hopefully raise 10k dollars for Sindhu Auntie and her daughter to use for their rent, education and other future needs. Please help them by donating how much ever you can. Every dollar will make a difference.
