Hi everyone!

My name is Madilyn, and I’m currently 14 years old (turning 15 this June). I have an amazing opportunity to travel to Peru with Operation Wallacea on a 10-day research and conservation expedition. This trip would allow me to work alongside scientists and conservationists while helping to study and protect wildlife and ecosystems.

I’ve always had a huge love for animals and hope to build a career working with them in the future. Right now, I’m about to complete my work experience at a local veterinary practice, which has made me even more passionate about caring for animals and protecting wildlife.

To help raise money for this incredible opportunity, my dad and I are planning to climb one of the Yorkshire Three Peaks. It will be a big challenge, but we’re excited to take it on to help fund my trip and support my dream of working with animals and conservation in the future.

This expedition will give me the chance to learn real research skills, experience conservation work first-hand, and work with professionals who are helping protect wildlife around the world. It would be an unforgettable experience and a huge step toward my goal of pursuing a career with animals.

Any support—big or small—would mean so much and will go directly toward funding my place on the expedition, travel, and research costs.
