Hello! My name is Raiden, I'm a 25 year old trans woman currently residing in Minnesota.

Over the course of the last two years I was living in Ontario, Canada with my girlfriend and pursuing an Early Childhood Education degree. Partially this was because it is a passion of mine and a field I would love to work in but also because it would allow me to stay in Canada safely with my partner for a steady, more significant, reliable period of time. Eventually, I would be able to work towards permanent residency after finishing school and be able to stay with her permanently somewhere I could feel safe/comfortable for the first time in my tumultuous life.

We took out a loan to pay for the tuition costs and I was on my way to a better life before my visa was denied. The loan ended up leaving us with a debt we're still paying off, my girlfriend was forced to move back to her hometown to be with her family, and I was forced to move back to America in the midst of everything currently going on in Minnesota as well as everything going on with the treatment of trans people within the country.

Recently, despite the ongoing struggles of working and living in America again, I reapplied to a new college in a new town with hopes of quickly returning home. However, the deadline on tuition for this college is extremely tight and far more costly as an international student. Along with the fact we're still paying off prior loans to a different school and still having to pay for the usual necessities like food/rent/bills I now find my future incredibly at risk once again despite all my efforts.

Any help with paying the costs of this tuition in time so that I can acquire visas and return back to living a better, safer, comfortable life would be greatly appreciated. Of course, I'll be trying to do everything I can to pay the costs myself on top of that. Whether that means working extra, multiple jobs, or taking out more loans in an effort to return home I'll do whatever I have to.

Upon getting my paperwork from the school after paying tuition and acquiring visa I'll be looking into a Student Line of Credit to cover any remaining costs and any future tuition expenses. I've received a lot of help with a lot of different issues throughout my life in the past and I'm hoping with any luck this will be the last time I ever have to.
