Fund Rachel's Exciting New YouTube Series

Hello friends, family, and loved ones! You all know me, I'm Rachel Pegram! The last few years have been a whirlwind for many reasons. The writers' strike turned the industry upside down and left me without consistent work for some time. While I've managed to make it through the last couple of years, I would be remiss to say it's been easy.

HOWEVER, I have a new project that I've been working on and am really excited about. It's a new digital/YouTube series called Dream Come True! Dream Come True is a show about taking people's long-desired dreams and turning them into reality! But on a budget... Say someone's dream is to skydive; we'd maybe take them to indoor skydiving at Citywalk instead. It's like a low-budget, scrappy MTV Made meets a slightly nicer Nathan For You. All of course, hosted by ME!

The cost for the show comes mainly from the videographer (DP) and editor, as well as any costs for the dreams in each episode. Currently, I'm looking to produce six episodes to be released over six months. The breakdown of cost per episode is $1,100 for the shoot and edit, plus $500 for on-set meals, dream needs, and extraneous camera/production equipment, coming out to $1,600 per episode. We've shot one, but still need to produce the other five. My goal is to get $8,000 for this project as a minimum, but any additional money would go towards producing more episodes for the series as we build a fanbase.
