Hi friends!

For those who don't know me, I'm Rachael, an artist & maker currently living in NJ. For the last few years I’ve been making my art on the side while earning my overall living in the restaurant industry. But back in April, I fell and sprained my ankle, which is refusing to heal and I’m cycling through different doctors to try and figure out why.

That being said, I’ve been out of work since May and have run out of my temporary disability. I have been unable to find a job that I can physically work.

So, I’ve taken the time to develop my own ideas and dreams. I have built the structure for, what I’m calling, a boutique apothecary, the Witch’s Attic—inspired by my little attic studio in our current home—as a means to try and support myself.

I have developed several products revolving around wellness for the body, home, and soul. This includes handmade herbal and artistic designs, such as teas, oils, simmer pot kits, handmade home decor, and a new launch of artwork. I have everything planned and sourced, with the goal to release my first shop update on my website and Tik Tok shop by the end of November. I am just trying to raise the funds to order my supplies and start building inventory.

Everything I have sourced is ethically made and sustainable, which is a non-negotiable for my vision. My goal is not just to build a business, but a community of healing and support through my Tik Tok page and eventually as a physical space within my own community.

I know it’s cliched to say, but truly, if you know me you know I am very independent and do not like to ask for help. But, if you feel led to contribute to my vision and venture, I would welcome any generosities with gratitude and thanks!
