We have produced and delivered 4,000 face-shields to medical and frontline workers.

Due to the high demand for face-shields in our community, we have decided to raise our goal to $40,000 which would allow us to donate 7,000 more shields. We confirmed our supply chain and production abilities for this quantity and now we seek the funding to allow us to move forward.

Medical personnel are on the frontlines of an emergency in NYC and the surrounding areas. As a response, we are raising funding to produce and donate face-shields to hospitals and those in need.

The face-shield is a vital piece of equipment that acts as a wearable barrier between any essential worker and those infected to reduce the risk of disease transmission via airborne droplets. Unfortunately, there is a growing nationwide shortage of face-shields and other PPE due to the rapid spread of this virus.  These shields are intended to be single-use disposable items and based on our feedback, everyone on the frontlines is being told to reuse them for weeks if they receive a shield at all. Your donations will allow us to make a larger and faster impact by mass-producing these items locally, and distributing them quickly to those combating COVID-19. 

We have connected with several medical professionals and are working with them directly to fill their needs. Our immediate priority is helping healthcare workers in the NYC epicenter of this outbreak but we are hoping to continue making PPE for other regions as the outbreak shifts.
