We are Lucho and Maia, two award-winning student filmmakers who are looking to produce an eight-minute short film called 'Present Evil' with the help from the rest of our dedicated crew. We still need funds for more essentials, such as equipment rentals, props, locations, costuming, and more. Any donation helps our crew, and all donators will get a credit in the final project!

Producer / Line Producer - Maia Finlayson is an artist from Annapolis, MD who working a variety of mediums including Filmmaking, animation, digital collages, and writing to creatively tell stories. With her origins in experimentation, she believes that storytelling shouldn't be limited to one medium. She now sets her focus on producing, having worked in a management role for a variety of creative projects including but not limited to managing R.O.T, an interactive, multimedia horror instillation, and co-producing the Short Fan-Fare. She has just finished up on the project Penny Pinchers, where she worked as a line producer. Maia is in her second year at SCAD in pursuit of a BFA in Film and Television with a focus in producing.

Director / Producer - Luis ‘Lucho’ Salva is a photographer, videographer, and award-winning filmmaker. Professionally, he has worked with clients ranging from small businesses, to government contractors, hair stylists, musicians, to magazines, and more. Creatively, Lucho has worked as an Assistant Director, a Gaffer, a Director, and everything in between. His creative work in these different roles have been shown at Caravan Film Festival, Spooky Empire Film Festival, Orlando International Film Festival, and Tampa Bay Underground Film Festival, and more. Lucho’s creative work has been nominated for and won several awards, such as “Best Student Film’, ‘Best Thriller’, and more.
