Hi my name is Willow, I’ve owned my pony Phoenix for 7 years now. Last week he had choke and we had the vet out, she cleared him and said he was fine. A few days after we went down to the yard and he couldn’t breathe. We had the vet come out immediately and we had to take him to an equine veterinary hospital - this was Monday 9th. The vets haven’t been able to find the cause of the swelling in his throat and have now decided to focus on his recovery (rehydrating him, helping him breathe etc) which is going to be a long, hopefully successful and sadly expensive process. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
