Fund 'Paranoia': A Student Film Journey

Synopsis: 'Paranoia' is a story about Sammy, who starts experiencing paranormal activities while living with his brother, Roy. While the world believes Sammy is going crazy, Sammy is determined to find out the truth. As Sammy loses his grip on reality, he starts to question everything.

We are Infinite, a production company that began in 2022 by two aspiring storytellers: Imran Shaik and Zuhayr Usmani. For years, we've created short films where we wrote, directed, produced, and acted in our stories.

We were two dreamers with a vision, which catered to our teachers and peers. With their help, we wrote our dream project, 'PARANOIA'. After writing it, we realized that to bring this project to its full potential, we need your support. We are fundraising so we can bring our dream to life.

We are bringing in multiple aspiring dreamers and storytellers like us from San Jose to do this project in hopes that this can be a calling card for their talent to be recognized as well.

We want to give you the opportunity to join us on this journey and help students who will change the face of entertainment. We are also giving rewards for your contributions based on this tier list:

$50 - Ticket to Premiere

$150 - Name in the Credits + Invitation to Test Screening

$300 - Associate Producer Credit

$1,000 - Executive Producer Credit

This is where the funds will go:

Feeding the Crew: This short film will be filmed over the course of five days. The average cost to feed a mouth would be around $20. The cast and crew will be over 20 people, so the total cost would be a minimum of $2,000!

Filming Equipment: Filming is an extensive job and requires a lot of technology. Sadly, that technology costs money. For our expenses, it would come out to be a minimum of $1,000 for the camera team, gaffer, and editors to properly capture a project of this scale.

Locations: This project requires multiple locations. We will be renting out some of these locations, including an Airbnb for a week and a football field during one of the days. The estimated cost for these rentals would be a minimum of $2,000.

Wardrobe: Clothes say a lot about a character. To give justice to these characters we would need to spend money on their wardrobe. We would need a budget for characters portraying football players, custodial workers, a detective, and a doctor, which would come out to be a minimum of $500.

Production Design: Production design is a key factor in making a film look good. The design of the set brings the film to life, with its textures and feels. A project of this size would ask for at least $500 in production design.

Please consider these when you do fund this project. We not only need your support in terms of money but also with your good graces and blessings. We wish to carry this project to its full potential. When all goes well for this project, 'PARANOIA' will be one of the largest student-led films to come out of San Jose.
