È Responsabile: Ci ha detto che era pronto a lavorare ogni sera per pagarsi la retta pur di avere questa occasione.

At the International School of Brindisi (ISB), we believe potential is everywhere, but opportunity is not. A few weeks ago, an 18-year-old student from Brindisi named Nicolò knocked on our door and gave our entire community an extraordinary chance to prove that when we see a spark, we can fan it into a flame.

This is the Story of Nicolò

Nicolò is not a typical scholarship candidate; he is the catalyst. Currently in his final year at a local professional school, he lives with his family right here in Brindisi. After his parents lost their jobs, they have worked occasionally to make ends meet, and Nicolò has seen firsthand how financial hardship can try to suffocate aspiration.

But Nicolò is defined by his unstoppable grit, not his circumstances:

He is Driven: On his own initiative, he researched ISB and asked to switch from his Italian diploma to our American High School Diploma program, starting this year.

He is a Self-Learner: Passionate about IT, programming, and AI, he is entirely self-taught, diving into complex subjects simply because he is curious. He doesn’t wait to be taught; he follows his passion.

He is Accountable: When he and his mother visited our school, he told us he was prepared to work every evening to pay his own tuition, even as his mother, in tears, wished she could offer him this chance herself.

Our Commitment: From a Spark to a Promise

Nicolò’s determination inspired us. His story is a powerful lesson: "If you don't try, you don't get. If you don't go beyond, you will always stay there".

We could not let this spark go out.

Faced with his incredible drive, we made a decision. The International School of Brindisi has already committed to welcoming Nicolò for his final year. We believe in him, and we are standing by that belief.

Our Campaign Goals

Initial Goal: €15,000 — Fully Fund Nicolò’s Year Our first priority is to raise the €15,000 needed to cover Nicolò’s complete tuition for the 2025-2026 school year. This will make him the first student from Brindisi to ever receive an American High School diploma in Brindisi, opening up a world of global opportunities.

Stretch Goal: €30,000+ — Launch the Legacy Fund Every single euro raised beyond our initial goal will go directly into the ISB Spark Scholarship Fund. This will ensure that we can offer this same life-changing opportunity to another deserving local student next year, breaking down barriers for a new generation.
