Henry Mountain bike team

Hi! I am Matt Sabin, the coach of the Northside Mountain Bike Teams and one of the riders on this coast to coast adventure. As my son and I planned this trip across the United States we realized we wanted to make it more than just a ride for us- we wanted it to be a ride for our community. Specifically, the youth in our community with a focus on bicycles because they've been a big part of both of our lives and we have learned the joy and excitement that two wheels offer. My son in fact will be pursuing a degree in Outdoor Recreation and Management next year with hopes of turning his love of working with kids and bikes into a lifetime career. North Minneapolis has had its struggle over the last few years and there are a number of youth that could benefit from learning the joy of mountain biking on some of the amazing trails we have in our community. The money raised will be used to buy a team trailer to transport team equipment to the races and maintain the team bicycles that are used during a season by athletes that do not have the ability to provide their own bicycles.
