Help raise funds for Jane's holistic cancer treatments

Donation protected
A fundraiser organised by friends of Jane Staffieri and Emily Foulkes.

Hi to all you wonderful friends and family who keep asking what you can do to help. We have thought about this carefully and would like to ask you to help fund the complementary treatments that Jane needs to work alongside the chemotherapy.

As a reminder and an update: Jane was diagnosed in 2022 with a rare and high grade cancer of the appendix. She received excellent care from the local hospital and alongside all the complementary methods, we have enjoyed 2 years of being NED (no evidence of disease). Sadly, the December 2024 scan showed evidence of spread and now Jane is facing another round of chemotherapy.

We have the support of a functional medical practitioner and others, who have helped us navigate a number of scientifically proven methods to slow or even halt the progression. We believe that these additional approaches can have a significant impact on the quality and length of Jane's life.

Jane (a Lostwithiel resident for more than 15 years) has dedicated her life to helping others, first as a Youth and Community Worker in Bristol and then building a music for well-being charity in Cornwall. Music for Good is a wonderful testament to her passion and dedication to share the power of music for well-being.

Always looking to learn and build her skills, Jane became a certified Sound Healing Practitioner with the Sound Healing Academy and a certified Trauma-Informed Practitioner. With her wife, Emily, Jane has built a thriving business (Sounds Like Healing), based in Lostwithiel, providing Sound Baths and individual Sound Healing to support the health and well-being of others.

Jane is passionate about the power of sound and frequencies for healing and is keen to share what she has learnt through this journey with others. Alongside Emily, they hope to offer targeted wellness services for people living with cancer. There is so much that people could learn beyond the allopathic route and Jane wants to share this as widely as possible.

Jane's son, Sunny, is a strapping 20 year old currently studying on a Rugby scholarship in the US. Jane is incredibly proud of him, his achievements and dedication.

We are so grateful for any support towards the holistic and complementary medicines. Many of these are ongoing monthly costs. Please see a more detailed list below.

If financial support is not possible, we appreciate all offers of practical help and support as we navigate this incredibly challenging time.

If you are a practitioner, you may consider delivering a Sound Bath or music/singing/sound workshop to donate some of the proceeds. There may be other creative ideas for fundraising too!
