Olive was born with a genetic condition that causes her bones to break easily. In her short life (4 years) she has already had more than 8 fractures. More recently she severely fractured her left femur and then refractured it again right after the cast came off. Her legs are extremely weak and she is taking a long time getting back to walking and weight bearing again. We just recently went to a warm spring pool with healing minerals, warm water, and a shallow end that was perfect for her to walk in. We are hoping to purchase a membership to get her in the mineral pool as often as possible in order to get her legs moving and strong again. The pool is also a safe place for her to move and feel independent in her body without risk of more fractures. Due to Olive needing more frequent supervision and care, I have been working less and funds are tight. Any support is greatly appreciated in helping Olive recover her strength in her legs.
