About Nathan
Hi! My name is Nathan Peterson, and I am the writer and director of A Source of Light, my Bachelor of Fine Arts Thesis film. This film is a culmination of my past four years of studying film theory and production, through taking classes and working on productions. I’ve been developing this film since January, and I need your help to make it happen!
The Story
Eddy and Eric were the best of friends. They grew up together, went to school together, and never really strayed apart from each other. Even into adulthood they chose each other as roommates. That all changes when extroverted and confident Eric takes a job in a whole new continent. This leaves Eddy, whose anxiety makes it extremely hard for him to move forward with his life.
The character of Eddy resonates with me because I grew up a very anxious person, and for a long time I seriously struggled with putting myself out there. Therefore, this story is one that is very important to me, and I know the crew and I will do the story justice.
Why Donate?
We need your support to bring Nathan's vision to life. All donations will go directly towards meals for the cast and crew, securing unique filming locations, including a vintage bowling alley and a local bar, as well as all costumes and props necessary to bring this project to the big screen. All elements come together to create the artistic atmosphere that makes this short film truly special.
