Hey! My name is Natalie Ordonez, I'm a first generation college student with a dream to become a doctor one day. Life took an unexpected turn for me in November which has caused me to financially go on my own from one day to another. This has taken a huge toll on my mental health however I'm determined to keep pushing forward.

I've gotten an incredible opportunity to volunteer in Dominican Republic in helping underserved communities with medical care along side with friends from school. This trip would mean so much for me because it aligns with my passion for medicine and giving back to the community. I believe everyone should receive medical care! However, I'm running out of time to raise the necessary funds for me to go on this trip. I've picked up extra hours at work (I work as a behavior technician) however it's not enough for me to cover the cost of this trip. I've finally accepted the fact that I need help from my community to make this life changing experience happen.
