Hi, I’m Alex.

In January I’ll be heading to South Africa for a semester abroad, working on a reserve where I’ll be helping with invasive species control, maintaining fences and roads, erosion control, and monitoring wildlife for three months.

It’s a priceless hands-on conservation experience that I’m incredibly excited about and one that will teach me so much about environmental management that I will be able to carry forward into future careers.

This GoFundMe is to help support bills back home along with the cost of the semester abroad and the gear I’ll need while away.
