Fund My Music Video for "Put Down Your Phone"
Donation protected
Hey everyone!
My name is Mïrändä and I'm an independent artist, music producer, singer, songwriter and composer based in Brooklyn, New York.
I'm making a music video for my upcoming single, Put Down Your Phone. It explores our embattled relationships with our phones - how they simultaneously connect and disconnect us to and from the world around us and our struggle to find balance and separation between ourselves and our devices.
But I need your help! I need funding for studio space, costumes, props and to feed and appropriately compensate my incredible and generous creative team. We have storyboarded, started putting together costume and scenic design, scouted the location, cast performers and are hoping to shoot this mid November.
As an independent artist, all of these costs are out of pocket. All song releases, promo etc are handled and funded by me, myself and I, so oftentimes I’ve had to put visuals low on my list of priorities. However, this music video feels imperative to make.
I’m so thrilled with our concept and crew. I'll be joined by three dancers, as we portray a journey of self discovery through absurdist and colorful choreographic images - choreographed by the wildly talented Allegra Herman and filmed and directed by the magnificent Julia Discenza.
If you are able, please help support this project and the local artists involved, who will use your contribution to great effect <3
No donation is too small and all who contribute will get a special thanks in our credits.
