Hello friends of freedom!
Im pleased to share that I have been accepted into the Engage In Palestine journalism program from January 10-25th; however I have run into a 3month delay in selling my house, which was going to provide the funds for this opportunity. I am asking for help of $4,000 to cover airfare, two weeks of enrollment costs, and leisure visits to Marrakesh, Giza, Jerusalem, and the Dead Sea. My goal is to help raise US awareness of the humanity of my Palestinian friends, and of the inhumanity of the people conducting and contributing to the genocide of them, which includes the US president I voted for, military officials I once worked with, and defense contractors I once called friends. It is past due for more people with privileges like me, to make bold acts to help us defeat the ugliness of islamophobia in ourselves and our culture. I hope to honor the stunning work of the many journalists who have covered this conflict over the years, including Bisan Odwa, Yousef Alhelou, Motaz Azaiza, Wael Al-Dahdouh, Hamza Al-Dahdouh, and the 150+ journalists killed in Palestine since October 7, 2023. I know the culprits of this genocide try to paint sympathizers as terrorists. Let them try that with someone who has the reputation I have as fighting and caring deeply for my country, for my countrymen, and for all. #freepalestine
