This May, I will graduate with my associate’s degree—but right now, I’m facing a difficult reality: without additional support, I may not be able to continue into my bachelor’s program this fall. I’ve taken the responsible steps to get here. I’ve applied for scholarships and completed my financial aid process. Even with that support, I still have a remaining balance for the upcoming fall semester. You may ask why not work? Since I have seizures, trying to intertwine work hours with study hours will be difficult and can possibly affect my health. I am also limited to where I can work since I cannot drive due to my seizures.
These funds will help fully cover tuition and books; therefore, I will be able to strictly focus on studying without the need to juggle work as well. I thank you for coming across my post and taking the time to read because you didn't have to. I am grateful for every eye that sees and every hand that donates and shares. Every cent brings me closer to accomplishing my dream of becoming a nutritionist! Giving up isn’t an option for me—I am determined to keep moving forward, no matter the obstacles.
