Don’t Let Me Lose This Second Chance at UBC

I’m writing this with a lot of hope and honesty.

Last year, I was given a life-changing opportunity, a full-funded scholarship to the University of Connecticut. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, I couldn’t take it. It was one of the hardest moments of my entire adulthood life.

This year, I’ve been given another chance. I’ve been admitted to the University of British Columbia, a dream for any student. I can surely say that opportunities like this are rare, and I truly don’t want to lose it again this year.

However, I was not selected for a full scholarship this time. Right now, the immediate challenge is paying the enrollment deposit by May 1st. This deposit is beyond crucial, it will secure my place at UBC and give me the option to defer my admission for one year. That one year would give me time to search for scholarships, financial support, and a way to make this dream possible.

At the moment, covering this cost on my own is extremely difficult. That’s why I’m reaching out.

I kindly ask you to remember that your help would give me a second chance at something I once lost. Last but not least, the story goes beyond my personal education, it carries the potential to impact millions and millions of live, this is something that time will show us.
