Hi Everyone!

Thank you for visiting my page! My name is Aron Rucker and as you might already know, I was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma in February 2023. This is a rare, fast-growing form of lymph node cancer. With the care of Cardiff Noah's Ark Children's Hospital, I was treated quickly and effectively. During my hospital stay I went through some draining treatments and chemotherapy. This is when I first found out about their work and how much they do for the ill children and their parents. It is a hard job but their help and support meant a lot to me and my Mum and Dad.

Thankfully I am now back to normal and want to give back to the charities that gave so much to me to help me cope. Since then I went back playing football, rugby and I have also competed in the Welsh National Judo Championship where I won a bronze medal.

To raise awareness and money for them I have decided to do a Walrus dip with my Dad on the 26th of December 2023. Dad will also take part in the Llanelli 10Km run in February 2024. The charities that I have chosen to support are: Latch Welsh Children's Cancer charity, Make a Wish and Dreamflight.

With your help, I hope I can raise my target money to support these amazing people who work tirelessly to help children through their hard times.
