Hi! My name is Connor Fitzgerald. I'm a filmmaking student at MetFilm Brighton and I’m raising funds to help create a short body-horror film: MOULD. Tackling the growing issue of young men being influenced by hate groups online, MOULD is a social commentary though the lens of horror.

Synopsis:

"Andrew isolates himself from the world, turning to an online forum for lonely men in search of connection. At first, he finds the community he’s been craving—but soon their support turns toxic as hate begins to take root. As Andrew sinks deeper into their ideology, strange patches of mould spread across his body, reflecting his inner decay. His mother’s desperate attempt to reach him comes too late—he’s become someone she no longer recognizes."

The money will be going towards hiring professional actors, prosthetics and makeup, production design, food and travel. I will be keeping donors updated with any spending or production updates.
