Monic is a resilient and selfless single mother who has dedicated her life to supporting her children and uplifting other women facing similar hardships. Despite having no stable income, Monic has opened her heart and home to vulnerable women and children, offering emotional support, guidance, and hope through her small charity, "Hope For Maamas Uganda." After facing many financial hardships in Uganda, her charity has been all but uprooted.

Each day, Monic juggles the overwhelming responsibilities of raising her children, covering school fees, rent, and daily needs, while still striving to care for others. She relies solely on occasional handouts from a few kind-hearted well-wishers, which, though appreciated, are not enough to sustain her family or the women she supports.

Monic's vision is bigger than survival—she dreams of sustainability. After years of trying to make ends meet, she has made the courageous decision to travel to Europe in pursuit of work opportunities that will enable her to start a business. This business will not only provide a stable future for her children but also empower other struggling women through job creation and mentorship.

However, Monic faces a significant obstacle: she cannot afford the travel costs. Despite her determination, this financial barrier threatens to keep her—and those who rely on her—trapped in a cycle of poverty and dependence.
