I say this with a heavy heart and am reaching out for support from family and friends.

As everyone knows, my mother has been battling with stage 4 uterine cancer, which recently spread to her brain. She was able to get the tumor removed and has had a long road to recovery. Learning to walk, talk, and get back to normal everyday activities has been a real challenge. She spent 3 weeks at the hospital and has had several follow-up appointments.

She needs 24/7 care, which we have been working hard to provide her.

Unfortunately, she began feeling ill this late Saturday night. We brought her to the emergency room, and she has been in the ICU since. At this time, the doctors have found another tumor that has grown since the time of her last surgery, which has caused internal bleeding. Sadly, we do not know what the next steps will be concerning her care plan.

We are fortunate enough to have a great support group of individuals reaching out about how to help.

Como todos saben, mi madre ha estado luchando contra un cáncer de útero en etapa 4 que recientemente se extendió al cerebro. Pudieron extirparle el tumor y ha tenido un largo camino hacia la recuperación. Aprender a caminar, hablar y retomar sus actividades cotidianas ha sido un verdadero desafío. Pasó tres semanas en el hospital y ha tenido varias citas de seguimiento.

Necesita atención las 24 horas, los 7 días de la semana, y nos hemos esforzado por brindarle.

Desafortunadamente, comenzó a sentirse mal este sábado por la noche. La llevamos a urgencias y ha estado en la UCI desde entonces. En este momento, los médicos han detectado otro tumor que ha crecido desde su última cirugía y le ha causado una hemorragia interna. Lamentablemente, desconocemos cuáles serán los próximos pasos con respecto a su plan de atención.

Tenemos la suerte de contar con un excelente grupo de apoyo de personas que nos ayudan.
