Support Our Family Survival During Gaza War !

Donation protected
My name is Mohamed Elshorfa and I am currently seeking your help for my family living expenses throughout the war in Gaza and saving up to leave once the Rafah border crossing opens again. we are currently homeless, hungry, sick, in danger, alone, and scared.

We are a Palestinian family living through one of the darkest moments of our lives. We are currently homeless, hungry, sick, in danger, and afraid—with no income, no safe shelter, and no way out. We are turning to you with deep humility to ask for your help to survive this war, and to save up enough to leave Gaza if the Rafah border crossing opens again.

Our Story
After living most of our lives in Egypt without legal residency, our family returned to our hometown in Gaza one month before the war began. We came back hopeful—searching for work, stability, and a new beginning. But we were met with unimaginable devastation.

We used most of our savings to rent and furnish an apartment. It was a small start, but it was finally home. Just a few weeks later, the war began. We were forced to flee immediately, taking nothing with us but the clothes on our backs.

Shortly after, the apartment was bombed—everything we owned, all our belongings, our memories, our savings—gone in an instant.

Life Since Then
Since evacuating, we’ve been living from place to place, often without shelter. Today, our family is living outside near the beach, without a tent, running water, or proper food. Some days we survive on canned goods, some days just tomatoes or onions—many days we have nothing at all. Clean water is expensive and hard to find. Medicine is nearly impossible to afford.

We have lost so much weight and are often sick from the harsh conditions. Our bodies ache, we are constantly bitten by bugs, and we have no access to bathrooms or showers. It’s humiliating, exhausting, and deeply painful—especially watching our children suffer.

Separation and Fear
Some members of our extended family managed to leave Gaza before the border closed, but we are still here—cut off, with no way to contact them, no way to ask for help, and no guarantee that we’ll ever see them again.

The fear is constant. The sound of bombs never stops. Every night we wonder if we’ll survive to see the next morning. We are physically and emotionally exhausted, but we are still holding on—for the sake of our children.

Why We Need Your Help
Your donation will help us:
  • Buy a basic tent or shelter
  • Get food, clean water, and medicine
  • Access hygiene supplies and basic clothing
  • Save to escape Gaza if the Rafah crossing opens again

We are not asking for luxury. We are asking for the bare minimum to survive—and a chance to give our family a future away from war.

If you can give anything, even a small amount, it could mean the difference between life and death for us.

Thank you for reading. Please, help us survive. Help us escape. Help us live.

With all our hearts,
The Elshorfa Family

This chair is our bathroom chair, and the yellow gallon is how we collect drinking water. Finally, the white thing I was wearing is to save the body heat. Please Help us Survive.
