Support us, send Mikail for his I.B at UWC

We are reaching out to you today with an appeal.

Our son, Mikail, is an incredibly gifted student who has received a partial scholarship to pursue his education at United World College (UWC).

UWC is an international network of colleges with the shared aim of making education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.

Today, UWC consists of 18 colleges on four continents. Young people from more than 155 countries are carefully selected through a system of national committees and pursue the International Baccalaureate Diploma. The IB diploma, (IDBP) is a pre-university academic program for the 11th and 12th grades. A world-respected curriculum that UWC played a key role in developing.

UWC inspires young people to put their talents and energy into social change, no matter which future path they choose. Promising and, passionate students from all over the world are selected.

The IBDP provides students with the knowledge and skills to reach universities across the world, as well as the best ones, very often with full or partial scholarships. It also encourages them to consider how they can actively support their community, and build initiatives that teach leadership, teamwork, creativity, and self-confidence.

UWC have offered Mikail a position with a partial scholarship, and combined with personal savings, we have about 70% of fees/expenses. We need support in raising the balance to ensure our son can continue his academic pursuits and become a change-maker.

As a keen science student, he has selected the college in Dilijan, Armenia. This particular UWC offers state-of-the-art facilities and an IB program with a focus on STEM subjects.

Our son is a hard-working and dedicated student and is eager to learn. He has consistently demonstrated his commitment to his studies and has excelled in his academic pursuits. Being selected by the UWC GB committee is proof of his dedication and is a huge honour.

We believe that Mikail has the ability to make a significant impact in the world, and we want to give him every opportunity to succeed. With your help, we can provide him with the resources and support that he needs to excel in his studies and pursue his passions.

We have set up this crowdfunding campaign to raise the necessary funds to ensure our son can continue his education. The amount will cover the two years IB programme at UWC.

We understand that times are tough for many people right now, but we ask that you consider donating whatever little you can to support Mikail. Every dollar counts and will go towards paying for his tuition fees, books, and other educational expenses.
