My name is Joseph Acampora, son of Michael Acampora who passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 29th.

I am raising money to help fund my dad’s funeral and burial costs. Michael was very loved and known by so many people, from being an Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow, to coaching baseball, to working at Barnes and being the Vice President of the union, to being a great dad. Michael loved the Seahawks, Mets, Trailblazers, and the Boston Bruins, but most importantly, what Michael loved the most more than any team was his family. He was a great family man who always showed up to his son’s baseball and softball games. He was always around to celebrate birthdays and holidays with his parents, wife, son, and close family members and friends. 

If you knew Michael, you knew he had a great sense of humor and always made people laugh. From sarcastic remarks to Facebook politic warrior, Michael was a character. He will be missed so much. We appreciate anything you could do to support our family in such tough times.
