Young filmmaker and high school senior, Megan Basilio Perez is working on creating her creative sample to apply to USC School of Cinematic Arts and needs financial help to make her story rooted in the AV Latinx community come to life!

Nuestro Secreto is a Mexican American short film featuring the rise of a professional soccer team that started in the small city of Palmdale, California. The story follows a young adult who seeks advice from a family friend who works in the business side of AV ALTA, the professional soccer team to have more opportunity to thrive in major industries. Born and raised in a small city, the message of the film emphasizes on seeking support from the community and the people around them in order to make a difference for their people and culture.

To bring Megan’s vision to life we need your help to make it possible! Your donation will allow Megan and her team to afford equipment, obtain permits to film in the Lancaster Municipal Stadium, and care/support the cast and crew during filming.
